I happened to mention Sam O’Hare’s captivating short film “The Sandpit” and the 8-Bit NYC meme in the same post a couple weeks ago: watch the rough equivalent of a mash-up via Asciimeo. It’s not nearly interesting as either of the originals; ASCII-conversion technology was YouTube’s April Fools’ Day joke. (TechCrunch)
